Privacy Policy
This is a waitlist. We collect your email address and ZIP code, we use them to tell you when the app is ready, and we do not sell your data. This policy explains the details.
1. Who we are
"Your Data, Your Money" (also referred to as "YDYM," "we," "us," or "our") is a pre-launch product operated by Iron River Technologies LLC. The waitlist site is currently hosted at mydatamymoney.netlify.app.

2. What we collect
When you sign up for the waitlist, we collect:
- Email address — so we can notify you when the app launches and send you occasional updates until then.
- ZIP code — so we can understand geographic demand and prioritize launch regions.
We do not collect your name, phone number, date of birth, government ID, payment information, precise location, or any other personal data on this waitlist site. Additional data types may be collected later, but only inside the app itself, and only with your explicit, informed consent for each type.
Automatic technical data
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs basic technical information about visitors, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
3. How we use it
We use the information you give us to:
- Add you to the waitlist.
- Email you when the app launches.
- Send you occasional updates about the product, no more than once a month.
- Understand where our early audience is geographically concentrated.
We do not use your information for advertising targeting or any other purpose not listed here.
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers we rely on to run the waitlist:
- Netlify — hosts the website and stores form submissions.
- Email service provider — to send you waitlist updates and the launch notification. We will name this provider here once selected.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever. Selling consumer data is the problem we exist to solve, so we will not become part of it.
We may be required to disclose information in response to a valid legal request (subpoena, court order). In that case, we will tell you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your email and ZIP code until you ask us to delete them, or until 24 months after the last time you interact with us, whichever comes first. If the project is discontinued before launch, we will delete all waitlist data within 60 days of winding down.
6. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the information we hold on you.
- Correct any information that is wrong.
- Delete your data entirely.
- Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from emails at any time.
If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or any other state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you have additional rights under state law, including the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data, so this is automatic), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, including transmission over HTTPS and storage with reputable, SOC 2 compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please email us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
