Promotional Terms
We promise $50 to the first 500 people who fully onboard into the YDYM app once it launches. Here is exactly what that means, who qualifies, and how it gets paid.
1. The offer
The first 500 eligible users to complete onboarding in the YDYM app after it launches will each receive a one-time $50 founding-member bonus (the "Bonus"), paid into the user's linked bank account or digital wallet through the app's payout system.
2. Who is eligible
To receive the Bonus, you must satisfy all of the following:
- Be a resident of the United States at the time of signup.
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of signup.
- Have joined the YDYM waitlist before the app launch date.
- Download the YDYM app within 60 days of it becoming available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Complete the full in-app onboarding flow, including consenting to share at least one category of data through the app.
- Link a valid U.S. bank account or digital wallet for payouts.
- Complete identity verification ("KYC") as required by our payment processor.
- Be one of the first 500 users, in chronological order of onboarding completion, to satisfy all of the above.
- Not be a resident of a state or jurisdiction where such a promotional bonus is prohibited.
3. One per person
The Bonus is limited to one per person, per household, and per bank account or digital wallet. We reserve the right to use email address, IP address, device identifiers, phone number, and payout account information to detect duplicate entries. Attempting to claim the Bonus multiple times using different email addresses, devices, or identities will result in disqualification from the Bonus and may result in termination of your YDYM account.
4. When and how you get paid
Qualifying users will receive the $50 Bonus in their linked payout account within 14 days of completing onboarding, provided that all eligibility conditions remain satisfied. Payouts may be delayed for security review, identity verification, or to resolve any suspected fraud.
The Bonus is paid in U.S. dollars by ACH or instant transfer, at our discretion.
5. Tax reporting
The Bonus may be considered taxable income under U.S. federal and state tax law. If your total earnings from YDYM, including the Bonus and any data payouts, equal or exceed $600 in any calendar year, we are required to issue a Form 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC reporting those earnings to you and the IRS. You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from the Bonus.
6. How we count "the first 500"
Eligibility is determined by the timestamp at which a user completes all required onboarding steps inside the app, in Pacific Time, as recorded by our servers. Our records are final and binding. Simply being on the waitlist, downloading the app, or partially completing onboarding does not reserve your place.
7. Our rights
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time before Bonuses are paid, without notice, including if:
- We detect fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the promotion.
- Legal, regulatory, or tax considerations require us to do so.
- The app launch is delayed or does not occur.
- We determine, in our reasonable discretion, that the promotion is no longer commercially viable.
If we cancel or materially change this promotion, we will notify waitlist members by email.
8. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to participate. The YDYM app and its core features are free to use. The Bonus is not a prize, sweepstakes, or lottery — it is a promotional incentive paid to early users as consideration for completing onboarding and becoming an active member of the platform.
9. Void where prohibited
This promotion is void where prohibited by law. If you reside in a state or jurisdiction that prohibits cash promotional incentives of this kind, you are not eligible for the Bonus regardless of your waitlist status or onboarding completion.
10. Full terms apply
This promotion is subject to, and incorporates by reference, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between these Promotional Terms and those documents, these Promotional Terms control for matters specific to the Bonus.
